Ziggurat Dress. Cast concrete. 6' x 9' x 9'
Griswold Concrete Company Sculpture Park, Williston, Vermont.

This outdoor sculpture contains both architectural and figurative elements from a tradition of public monuments. The molds were specifically designed for this piece and can be used one more time to create a new site-specific work. The colors and textures would be informed by the particular site and surrounding architecture through the use of pigmented concrete and selected exposed aggregates—for example, pink concrete with crushed shell, green concrete with dark stone. Ziggurat Dress is made of six pieces that fit together on a level surface and weighs 2000 pounds.
