MountainHead. Painted reinforced plaster. 5´ x 6.5´ x 10´
International Sculpture Festa 2012, Hangaram Art Museum, Seoul Arts Center.

Mountains are the inspiration for this sculpture. Recalling the profile of Mt. Mansfield in her childhood home of Stowe, Vermont, Fry’s sculpture melds the mountain forms of Korea and Vermont’s Green Mountains with features of the artist’s face and the faces of Korean friends.

The final version of MountainHead will consist of four "heads" of various heights, cast in bronze.  Evoking a mountain landscape, the arrangement will be permanently installed in the International Sculpture Park, Songchu Art Valley, Korea.
