The lost wax bronze casting process is labor-intensive with many steps. I create the wax sculptures in my Vermont studio, then deliver the waxes to Maine to be cast in bronze at Somerset Foundry. Weeks later I’m back at the foundry to work on the final stages of surface details and patinas.
