Often working between sculpture, photography and collage, Fry places cut-out paper images in different environments and then photographs these ephemeral and theatrical interventions. This low-tech, performative process creates unexpected nature/culture juxtapositions. The final images are printed on aluminum or stay in situ for later discovery.
